Once we identify a core set of equity indexes to work, we remain engaged on the positions until such time as the fundamentals underlying the index shift. CMIS, Inc. pays special attention to the underlying micro-economic, macro-economic, geopolitical, and emotional perceptions of the marketplace.
We take advantage of intra month movements in the markets by working the ETF Option positions in conjunction with the underlying security. This gives us the ability to profit in markets that are moving in any direction.
Our strategy is to target and work indexes until such time as they appear to be overvalued or over sold. We will then rebalance the portfolio to take advantage of indexes that are moving in the desired direction. This sector rotation strategy is implemented to achieve the goals set forth by CMIS, Inc., and its principal strategist.
CMIS currently enters the market with a bias towards being bullish. Utilizing ETFs within the carefully selected sectors that are holding steady or rising as a desired starting place, dictates that we begin our work with a bullish trading approach to the market. If we believe the market is overbought, under pressure, or due for a retracement, these and tactical techniques can be modified to fit an evolving bearish market condition.
